A few months ago i wrote about Kaizer Chiefs assembling a group of celebrity ladies for a soccer team. They have been hard at practice but needles to say IT WILL TAKE A WHILE BEFORE THEY ARE TO REPLACE THE FIRST TEAM..!!The team boasts celebs such as Kelly Khumalo, Generation's Winnie Modise, Hlubi Mboya and more.

Again it seems as though local Soccer is in trouble... I'm talking about our national team who recently lost their coach this past week. The Chiefs ladies team could probably teach those guys a thing or two about committment! I'm afraid for the 2010 preparations which will have to be on hold as SAFA looks for another expensive coach.. I admit though that as much as Parreira was pricy he had gotten us cheering for Bafana Bafana again(The match against Paraguay for example)!!! We can only hope SAFA are wise in hiring a new coach who is going to have to work hard to pull these guys out of Bottom of Africa! And make us 'Worthy' World Cup hosts.

Safa is reportedly close to sealing a deal with another coach from Brazil (Joel Santana)..maybe he is good or maybe he too might have issues with being Homesick..Parreira was coming along just fine..But now I think SA's best bet is Jomo Sono..Yes, i think he can salvage some pride for SA..!
